
Asiimwe Confidence Nkurunungi is the Vice Chairperson Board PeerLink Initiative Uganda (PELI-U). She holds a Masters in Counselling of Makerere University and a Bachelor of Guidance and Counselling from Kyambogo University. She is an active member of the Uganda Counselling Association and regularly attends workshops and trainings organized by the Association to keep up to date with the new trends in the Counselling profession.
Confidence works as a University Counsellor for Kabale University. She is a seasoned counselling psychologist with over 17 years of experience. She has supported many people as individuals, families and groups struggling with various issues ranging from psychosocial, emotional and general mental health challenges. As a therapist she has a mature and creative approach to her work. She supports and guides the organization on issues of adolescent sexual reproductive health, guidance and counselling, psychosocial support and mental wellbeing of our staff.
